Aaron is 2 years and 4months old

Our Aaron has been growing like a weed. The Oregon sunshine and rain have been good to him. And mommy and daddy too.

Visiting the Coast of Oregon. I can still play on the sand even if I am bundled up.

Happy birthday, Aaron. Mom did a great job on your cake!

Dig that Easter basket..

I am all set for the 4th of July parade.

Mommy is training me well...I am already helping with the vacuum

Mommy, you didn't tell me I was going to squirt myself!!!

Let's do it again.

I am so good at school.

Gee, only two and Aaron has to automobles!

With mommy and new sister or brother at 32 weeks.

What every little boy loves to do...play in the dirt.

SHEPARD'S CORNER 3rd & 4th grade http://www.shepherdscorner.org/ministry

Every year the students of St. Paul's do many ministries. This past April the 3rd and 4th graders went to Shepard's Corner, a farm run by the Dominican Sisters of the Spring. This farm is located not far from us and it is surrounded by commerce and neighborhoods. It is a refreshing site as you drive down the road. The sisters with the help of one man do all the work organically.

This is their barn a very large and beautiful building.

Josue' and mom arrived early on a drizzly morning. We were prepared to plant and clean out the muck in the pens of sheep, chickens, turkey, ducks and clean out the non native plants that are choking the Ohio native wild flowers. Josue' with his gloves and ready to go. Our greeter was this beautiful llama.
Josue' wanted it to spit, however the llama was very well behaved. Josue' and his fellow classmates were taught how to plant onions, cabbage, lettuce, radishes and many other vegetables.

We saw such great cooperation between the grades and students.
Even cleaning the water pans.

The sisters taught us the differences between wild "garlic muster" and the good plants.

The sisters also teach weaving and spinning. They use their own sheep for the wool! Mom was in heaven...She says she will be going to visit the farm and spin with the sisters once school starts again.

These are the homes that surround the farm.

Our hostess. They baked the cookies and muffins that the children ate after a cold rainy morning of doing the chores.

Afterwards, boys will be boys...playing king on the mountain and the girls walking around taking in everything around the barn.

It was a great way to spend a wet spring morning.

Wow summer is almost over!

Josue's trip to Orlando

His first solo trip...

Since my last post, summer has progressed quite nicely. Josue' went to the Orlando area with his Kinderchor choir. They sang in Epcot Center at the USA pavilion. They also sang in The National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe Catholic, also at Ron Jon's!
Cool Hand "Luke" Josue' acting like the cool kid he is. Are we going to have "trouble" when he discovers that the ladies like him???

Finally a smile! He got in the bus and we didn't see him again...did he say Goodbye? Oh yes, " see you later Mom, Dad and you too Michael."
Michael, the older brother, always helping out.
All the parents were their seeing off their precious children... Daddy took off early so he could be there also.
This was our good bye from Josue'.
Mom had to sneak into the bus so she could take this photo. Josue' was not pleased...remember he had said his goodbyes already!!
In their bus! The traveled from Otterbien College to Orlando in comfort. 13 hours latter they were in Orlando.
Bright color to be seen by all as the toured each of the Disney parks.
Ready to sing at Epcot

At he USA Pavilon.

The National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe. http://maryqueenoftheuniverse.org/index.html
Arriving at the Shrine.
Inside of the Shrine. Josue' was very impressed with the Shrine and all of it statues and windows.

Yes this is Josue'! From Thursday's concert at Epcot to Saturday's 4:00 mass, our Josue' lost his Tuxedo pants. His poor music directors expression says it all! I call this our "Jimmey Buffet" moment!

Our Josue' and his pals... Debonair in his cap!
